Detroit Mercy Thank a Donor Day
Tuesday, Sept. 24
12:30 - 2 p.m.
Be a part of Thank A Donor Day by participating in any or all of the activities we have planned on Sept. 24. Several activities are planned to educate students about how alumni and friends of Detroit Mercy enrich all aspects of the University.
Most activities will be in the Fountain Lounge of the Student Union. There will be thank you note writing stations, games, trivia, prizes, a scavenger hunt plus the opportunity to thank donors with photographs and video!
Activities for students include:
- Thank-you notes and lunch: During lunch time students have the opportunity to write a thank-you note to a donor at stations set up in the Library or in the Fountain Lounge. Turn in your thank you note and receive a free lunch served in the Fountain Lounge.
- Photo and Video Thank you Messages: Students who do a thank you photo or video thank you message in the Fountain Lounge will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Visa gift card!
- Games: Test your skill and UDM philanthropic knowledge while playing games in the Fountain Lounge to earn Detroit Mercy swag! Games include Plinko, and Wheel of Prizes
- Scavenger Hunt: Tommy Titan has lost his teddy bear! Solve clues to discover where Tommy Titan’s teddy is hiding on campus! You can then keep the bear and choose which Detroit Mercy fund you would like to receive a gift made possible by an anonymous donor! There are four teddy bears of Tommy’s hiding across the McNichols campus!
While walking the campus be sure to notice the donor recognition signs tagging items that have been made possible from generous gifts from our alumni and friends.
