Michigan HERC

The University of Detroit Mercy is a member of the Michigan Higher Education Recruitment Consortium to assist dual career couples in finding employment opportunities at other colleges and universities in the region.

The Michigan HERC works to find effective ways to assist the spouses and partners of faculty and staff to secure area employment and ways to address issues of faculty and staff diversity.

About University of Detroit Mercy

Founded in 1877 by the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), University of Detroit Mercy is Michigan's largest and most comprehensive Catholic university. In 1990, University of Detroit consolidated with Mercy College of Detroit, which was founded in 1941 by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, to form University of Detroit Mercy.
