Corporate and Foundation Relations

Identify opportunities for corporate and foundation investment in Detroit Mercy

Detroit Mercy, University Advancement’s Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) works to identify opportunities for corporate and foundation investment in Detroit Mercy programs, centers, and university initiatives and to establish, develop, and maintain enduring and mutually beneficial relationships with our partners. These relationships are crucial to the advancement and support of Detroit Mercy’s mission to provide excellent student-centered undergraduate and graduate education in an urban context and to integrate the intellectual, spiritual, ethical and social development of our students.

Corporations

We partner with the corporate community to structure and promote strong working relationships that advance both the objectives of industry and the mission of the university. We can support your corporation’s campus interests and make your visits to campus meaningful. We work toward meeting corporate objectives through the arrangement of meetings with faculty, administration and staff.

Foundations

Working with the colleges and units of Detroit Mercy, we match university strengths and priorities with private funders’ interests in the areas of research, academic programs and outreach projects. We advise university grant seekers to identify foundation funding sources as well as provide assistance in preparing and submitting proposals and post award management.
