Biography
Professor Larry Dubin is a 1966 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. After practicing law for eight years, he joined the University of Detroit Mercy Law in 1975. He has taught courses in Civil Procedure, Evidence, Trial Practice, Law & Psychiatry and Professional Responsibility. He was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to serve two terms as a member of the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission which is the entity that prosecutes lawyers for acts of professional misconduct. He was elected as both vice-chairman and chairman during his tenure. His professional writings including books, law review articles and journal articles have been in the area of trial practice, evidence and professional responsibility. He is a frequent legal guest on radio and television programs and has been quoted many times in newspapers including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune and the National Law Journal.
