Armed Robbery

Date: November 15, 2016

Location: On Campus / On the Street in front of 16800 Fairfield residence

Perpetrators

  • Suspect #1 Black Male 25-35 years of age, heavy set, wearing a black knit hat, armed with a silver in color revolver

  • Suspect #2 No description, driver of suspect vehicle

Circumstances

The Detroit Police Department and the University of Detroit Mercy, Department of Public Safety (DPS) are investigating an armed robbery that occurred November 15, 2016 between 11:25pm and 11:30pm.  The victim was driving back to 16800 Fairfield from the Pied Piper liquor store.  The victim parked across the street from 16800 Fairfield when a white older model sedan pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle.  Suspect #1, in the passenger seat, pointed a silver in color revolver at the victim and demanded his cash and cellular phone. The victim gave the suspect his cash and cellular phone.  The suspects then fled southbound on Fairfield in the white sedan and from there unknown.

Anyone that has seen a suspicious person(s) or activity during this time period is encouraged to call the DPS immediately.
