Escaped Prisoner

Circumstances
Department of Public Safety has been able to confirm a news report that a potentially dangerous felon by the name of Johnny Rodgers, a 25 year old black male, was mistakenly released from custody in Pontiac, Michigan. The report alleged Rodgers was released after a brief court appearance on Wednesday August 24, 2016 approximately 6:00 PM.
It is stated that Rodgers is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He is reported to have been in the area of 7 Mile and Livernois on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 9 pm and was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and Timberland Boots.
Anyone with information on Rogers’ whereabouts is urged to call 911 and Public Safety at 313.993.1123.
