Robbery Not Armed

Location: On Campus / Off Campus / City of Detroit bus stop east of the Citgo gas station located on McNichols and Fairfield
Circumstances
The University of Detroit Mercy, Department of Public Safety received a report from the Detroit Police Department (DPD) that a robbery occurred at a City of Detroit bus stop east of the Citgo gas station located on McNichols and Fairfield. During the incident, it was reported that the victim was waiting for a bus when he was approached by four black males, wearing all black. One of the suspects was described as being 6’4” slim build.
The victim stated that the above perpetrators immediately began assaulting him. During the assault the perpetrators robbed the victim of an ATM card and $22 in cash. The perpetrators then fled in an unknown direction. DPD and Emergency Medical Services arrived and conveyed the victim to the hospital for treatment of the injuries sustained during the robbery.
