Biography
Kimberly Batchelor Davis joined Detroit Mercy Law in 2022 as the Assistant Director for Alumni Relations. Batchelor Davis earned a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and she is currently pursuing a Masters from Central Michigan University. Batchelor Davis has worked in social advocacy, community engagement and outreach, politics, and event management. She completed a national community organizing program through Gamaliel in 2010. She has advocated for cancer research and care, energy assistance, quality of life issues, and political campaigns that benefit the community. She is a former legislative assistant for Detroit City Council, Family Manager for Latin Americans for Social and Economic Development, Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society, and Logistics Manager for the Harriet Tubman Center. She is also an independently published author; and professional speaker on mental health.
