Biography

Prof. Saunders earned his D.D.S. degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1972, and he completed his GPR training at Scott Medical Center at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.. in 1973. Prof. Saunders attended the Mayo Clinic for his residency training in Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics from 1974 to 1977. He spent 24 years actively practicing and teaching prosthodontics and maxillofacial prosthetics in the United State Air Force, retiring in 1995. Prof. Saunders joined the faculty of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, in 1996, retiring in 2010. He joined the university 2011.
