Biography

Prof. Yakan teaches didactic courses in oral and xaxillofacial surgery to dental students and serves as a clinical instructor to dental students and oral surgery residents. His areas of interest are Implantology, Orthognathic Surgery and TMJ disorders.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree of Dental Surgery from Aleppo University, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma, Master of Science and Ph.D. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Damascus University. He is a diplomate of Syrian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Prof. Yakan is a former dean of the Dental School, University of Aleppo, Syria. He Joined the university in 2016.
