Online programs earn 'U.S. News & World Report' national recognition

Three University of Detroit Mercy online programs are ranked among the top in the nation in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs ranking. The latest ranking was published on Jan. 21.  

In the College of Business Administration, the online MBA in Management program was ranked No. 13 once again this year. The Overall MBA was ranked No. 237 out of 355 programs for 2025. This is the first year the Overall MBA program has made the list. 

In the College of Health Professions, the McAuley School of Nursing’s online master’s in Nursing program was ranked No. 58 of the 198 ranked programs. That is up four spots from 2024 ranking. 

These rankings follow The Wall Street Journal/College Pulse report that ranked Detroit Mercy at No. 43 in the nationally.
