Hundreds of students from MICU institutions came together to make important statements to lawmakers and remind them of the following:

  • Grants and scholarships make higher education possible for all students. The need-based Michigan Tuition Grant is critical for college affordability and important for our students.
  • MICU institutions are committed to ensuring that students complete their degrees with little to no debt.
  • Independent colleges and universities make higher education more accessible to Michigan students and provide personalized support.
