President Garibaldi engages with government officials, civic, philanthropic and business leaders at Mackinac Island Policy Conference
President Antoine M. Garibaldi attended this year’s Mackinac Policy Conference. Since June 2011, this conference has provided the opportunity for him to speak with many local and state government officials, as well as business, civic and philanthropic leaders (several of whom are alumni) about the progress of the University.
Additionally, he has attended conference sessions and interviewed with media outlets covering this yearly conference. This year, Crain’s Detroit Business Reporter Annalise Frank interviewed him on her 17-minute podcast. They covered a variety of community and university topics, including the Novi campus, enrollment this fall, how the pandemic affected the University and students, and several other topics.
