Apply for Graduation

Don’t wait!

Graduation applications are due the first week of the Fall semester if you are finishing degree requirements September-December, or the first week of the Winter semester if you are finishing degree requirements January-August.

 

How to apply :

Log in to  my.udmercy.edu. Under Self-Service - Student

  1. Click on Student Profile
  2. Click on Apply to Graduate (left hand column on the page)
    NOTE: Graduation application fees are added to your student account once the application is submitted and are non-refundable. Please ensure that you will be able to meet all requirements by the expected graduation date prior to applying. If you are unsure, run a Degree Evaluation and meet with your Academic Advisor regularly.
  3. Once in the graduation application, Select a Term . Choose the most recent term to see your current degree/certificate program. This may not be your graduation term - you will select that in a future step.
  4. Verify that the curriculum on the screen is correct including majors, minors and concentrations, if applicable. If it is not correct, do not submit the application. Contact your college/school to update your record with the correct curriculum before you apply.
  5. If it is correct, click the radial button next to the program you are applying for.
  6. Click Continue
  7. Complete the application, making sure to choose the current term you anticipate completing your degree requirements.

Fall is September-December, Winter is January-mid May, Summer is end of May through August.

Make sure that your name is correct.  If you have a legal name change, please bring your legal name change documents to the Office of the Registrar BEFORE you apply to graduate.

Continue through each page of the application process in order to complete the graduation application. Once the application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation page.

 

Helpful Tips

If you are in more than one degree/certificate program, you must submit separate applications for each program. 

If you have more than one major, only one application will be submitted, however you need to verify that your correct program with all majors/minors/concentrations appear on the curriculum summary screen.
