Group Tours
Detroit Mercy welcomes organized groups to visit campus. A group visit will consist of an admission presentation and a 30-minute walking tour of campus with a current student. The admission presentation will provide general information about the University, including campus life, admission requirements and scholarship opportunities.
Please Note: In the event of late arrival or inclement weather, the length of the campus tour may be modified.
Schedule and Visit
Scheduling
Groups are hosted based on availability between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. To request a group visit, complete a Group Visit Request Form at least two weeks in advance of your preferred visit date.
Canceling
If you need to cancel your visit to campus, contact the Office of Admissions at least 48 hours prior to your visit by calling 313-993-1245 or emailing admissions@udmercy.edu.
Chaperones
A chaperone is required to accompany groups during a visit to campus. It is recommended that one adult accompanies every 15 students.
Arrival
A confirmation email with visit details will be sent prior to a scheduled visit. Plan to use the McNichols Campus entrance. Buses should plan to park in Student/Visitor Lot F.
Meal Options
Guests are welcome to either bring a lunch or purchase a meal in one of our dining establishments for approximately $10.00 per person. Groups of more than 25 people who would like to purchase a meal on campus must pay in advance.
