Biography

Lee Dionne, J.D., Ph.D., is the new director of the Pre-Law Program at Detroit Mercy. He will teach a variety of courses in Political Science and the Pre-Law Program and advise Detroit Mercy students from all departments who may be interested in pursuing legal careers. Dionne practiced corporate law in the Chicago offices of Jenner & Block and is an experienced teacher, pre-law advisor and mock trial coach. His research interests emphasize political history and interbranch relationships between Congress and the Presidency and Supreme Court.
