Biography
Sparks is responsible for the global support for WebFOCUS a business intelligence product, used in reporting and analytics, as of 2011. From 2005-2010 she was an adjunct professor for University of Detroit Mercy. From 1990-2011, she served as a consultant for Information Builders, a vendor for WebFOCUS.
She Monarch Systems, a supplier to Chrysler for FOCUS development and training from 1984-1990. From 1981-1984 Sparks worked at General Motors Corporation, Information Systems and Communications Activity (GMISCA).
Sparks holds a Master of Science in Computer & Information Systems from University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University. She has held membership with the Michigan Council of Women in Technology since 2011.
