Biography
As a Physics lecturer, Abbas specializes in teaching general physics courses for engineering and life science students. He holds a M.S. in Nanophysics from Le Mans University, a M.S. in Condensed Matter Physics from Lebanese University and a B.S. in Fundamental Physics, also from Lebanese University. Additionally, he pursued studies in philosophy and comparative religion at Saint Joseph University in Lebanon. His research was centered around nano magnetism, particularly focusing on the theoretical and numerical study of magnetic spin states in Fe8 single-molecular magnet (SMM). Abbas joined University of Detroit Mercy in April 2020.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Abbas is actively involved in other educational initiatives, including spreading scientific knowledge through video creation, and engaging in volunteer activities within his local community. He is also dedicated to journalism and media work in these communities.
