Biography
Adam Bouton joined the University of Detroit Mercy's Marketing and Communications department in September 2021. He produces and edits digital, social, written and web content for Detroit Mercy, helping lead the University's social media efforts as well as leading the efforts for the University's newsletter, Campus Connection.
He is no stranger to the University after spending the previous seven years working as the Associate Director of Athletic Communications within the Department of Athletics, assisting with the promotion and media relation efforts of the Titan athletic programs and student-athletes. He began working at the University in July 2014.
Bouton has a background in journalism and began his professional career as a multimedia sports journalist for MLive.com, before transitioning into University communications.
He was honored to receive a Commitment to Excellence Award from the University in December 2022.
