Biography
Felicia Hartinger joined University of Detroit Mercy as a Student Success Coordinator in 2014. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership-Higher Education/Student Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration-Political Science, with a minor in English from Saginaw Valley University.
In her role as director, Hartinger is responsible for leadership support and management of five student support professionals, including the KCP 4s Connections Program, and 40-60 student staff members in the SSC who provide tutoring and peer mentoring services to all students.
The SSC provides student-centered academic support services to help students at Detroit Mercy achieve success through the testing center, tutoring and learning communities, college life coaching, athlete study table, placement testing, Academic Interest & Major Exploration (AIME) program, Health Exploration Program (HEX), UAS-developmental coursework and Student Accessibility Services.
