Institutional Accreditation

University of Detroit Mercy is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) through the 2026-2027 academic year.

Recent Mid-Cycle Review: Fall 2020

As part of the ten-year accreditation cycle, a mid-cycle review took place in Fall 2020.  The mid-cycle review involves an evaluation, similar to the comprehensive evaluation conducted every ten years. This includes the development of a self-study and collection of evidentiary documents supporting the self-study, and a site visit by a peer review team.  The 2020 site visit was conducted virtually with one peer reviewer on-site in September 2020.

University of Detroit Mercy Self-Study

The University of Detroit Mercy Self-Study was developed by a Steering Committee of individuals across the University.
