The Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will take on Eastern Michigan Dec. 7 in the annual Detroit Public Schools Benefit Game.

The tip-off is 1 p.m. inside historic Calihan Hall and all tickets are just $2. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Detroit Public Schools K-5 with Michigan First Credit Union contributing a matching donation for all tickets sold.

Tickets are available only at the Calihan Hall ticket office (opened Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or on game day.

Eastern Michigan is one of Detroit Mercy's oldest rivals and this game will be the 78th meeting between the two schools. Located 35 miles from each other, Detroit Mercy and Eastern Michigan recruit many students and student-athletes from Detroit.

This is the fourth-straight year that the Titans have had a basketball game with proceeds benefitting DPS. In the last three years alone, the annual benefit game has raised more than $21,000 between ticket sales and matching donations from Michigan First Credit Union.
